when little work gets done. Greetings from the homestead–a rare weekend banging around the estate, looking to find certain things; looking to lose others. The mower has been partially rehabilitated, and was placed back into service yesterday. I’m about to go to the park and run my ass off–simply because it feels good to be exercising/exorcising again, and because it’s such a beautiful day here.
This morning I’ve been working on a little video update–intended for sponsors of the new project, but the more I thought about it, it seemed good to share with everyone. Yes, I know the lighting is absolutely incorrect. I just liked it that way. So there! I’ll be setting up the exclusive sponsor page soon–where I’ll be posting video, audio, etc. about the progress of the recording. So far, three weeks into the campaign, there are 35 of you sponsoring the project, and funding has reached around 3300 (gross). Thanks so much for your enthusiasm for, and support of, my efforts!
Greetings from Austin, my friend. It’s 11am in my morning and just heard a thunderclap announcing rain while listening/watching you strum your new song. Thanks. It moved me to break out my wallet to help get this latest project in the can. I really enjoyed seeing and talking with you here in March and I’ll always look forward to next time.
Take care and
Lon
That’s a truly wonderful song, Kevin. Thank you for sharing it so freshly-hewn. (Keep the distant dog barking in the final mix at the beginning and end!) Wonderful song… Stu
