Gloryland update/just-added shows

Hi folks,

Just a brief update here before returning nose to grindstone: to date we have raised $3921.26 in the Gloryland sponsorship campaign! Many thanks to all you contributors–the positive energy has been so great; I’m very psyched to get this record OUT!  For those of you who don’t know about the campaign, just click here or on the “gloryland sponsorship” link in the menu bar above (from any page on the site). And please email if you have any questions or suggestions: kevingordonmusic@comcast.net

Just added shows: Look for a late May show in Louisiana with Marcia Ball, and my return to Byron’s in Pomeroy, IA in June.  And don’t forget next week’s shows–a fundraiser for the Masur Museum in Monroe LA on Thursday April 14; a Derby weekend throwdown in Hot Springs at Maxine’s on Saturday, April 16.  The next week it’s The Mill in Iowa City and FitzGerald’s in Berwyn IL!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you’re thinking about having some sort of Summer/Fall bash and would like me to play, please shoot us an email! I might not come off as the house concert type, but I do several of them a year and, just like the audience, love the more intimate atmosphere that they provide.

And I consider myself to be a fairly modest fella, but you and I both know I have more than 717 fans. But that’s how many “likes” my music page is showing, friends. Let’s prop it up some. If you troll around facebook, and feel like showing some love, you can find my page here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kevin-Gordon/10237518531 (For those of you who haven’t enabled “secure” facebook browsing, you might have to substitute “http://” for the “https://” in the URL above.)

It took ten pulls, but the mower started this morning, first time out of the basement this year. I’ve got wild lettuce coming out of the ground. Life is good! Be careful out there–hope to see you soon.

That’s awesome! Looking forward to next week! We planning an informal “meet and greet” at my house after the Masur for potential sponsors. Arthur is working on getting the North Delta Music Project back to life to make the sponsorships tax deductible. Safe travels! See you next week!
