Just a quick note here from room 120 at the Quality Inn in sleepy Effingham, IL–we’re about to saddle up and head north: playing the SideBar at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn, IL tonight, soon as the John Hiatt show in the club wraps up, which I think will be 9 or so. Hope to see you there! Tomorrow we’re at House of Bricks in Des Moines IA (no matter what the BandsInTown listing might say), closing out the 2nd day of Little Big Fest, going on at 7:30 or so. We’ll be doing some songs from the forthcoming release, plus who knows what else. Old songs, new songs. Where’s my coffee? What am I thinking? Come on out this weekend, and find out . . . I’m proud and lucky to have the great rhythm section of Ron Eoff on bass and Paul Griffith on drums.
